So, I just packed most of my art supplies and can't work on any of my projects.  In the meantime, I'm up for some sketch work to practice.  Does anyone out there want a pencil sketch request fulfilled?  I'll do fanart or OC.  First note in my message center will be honored.

I'm reaching out to see if I hosted a Secret Santa for OC artwork would anyone be interested.  The purpose of this journal is only to gauge interest, so please don't send me requests yet.  I just want to know if you'd be willing to commit to this.  My target commitment for this is at least 10 artists. 

Basically, it would go like this:
- Everyone would have a set amount of time to sign up with their requested OC (post a reference).
- At the end of the sign up period (probably around 15 November), I'll randomly match each participant with a request gift and send them a note with their assigned gift.
- Participants would have until Christmas Eve to complete and post their gift dA.  Once posted, the gifter merely needs to mention or note the giftee so they know it's available.
- Yes, I will be participating, so I will be fulfilling one of the participants' requests.

The rules for play would be as follows:
- In order to promote equal effort level across the board:
    - Limit requests to one character.
    - Fulfilled request should be minimum waist up and full color, no background required.
- Due to randomness of artist selections, refrain from the following:
    - Violence, blood, or gore.
    - Nudity or sexually explicit content.
    - Ideological topics (again, out of respect for potential artist fulfilling your request).
- Gifters must create new work for the trade.  No art "re-gifting" out of your gallery!
- I know I can't really enforce this one, but give your gift the amount of effort that you would like to receive.  The object of this is to have fun share with each other during the holidays, not try to get a gift with minimum effort.
